Security
Payless Self Storage takes the security of our customers possessions very seriously. Below are all of your questions about the security of Payless Storage facility.
PDS (pretty darn secure). Our facility is built in a “circle the wagons” fashion where exterior walls provide more security than fencing. Approximately half of the property is bordered by a moat like drainage culvert limiting access to fewer points of penetration. Entry is limited to an key card accessed-controlled gate. The Card Key System offers more protection than shared keypad codes. Only authorized individuals with a Card Key can enter the property.
Yes, our facility is continuously monitored by security cameras to ensure your belongings are protected.
Actually we don’t use keypads. We provide each authorized tenant with a Card Key, which provides access to the facility. Unlike keypad codes, that are shared with unauthorized people, the Card Key system contributes to ensuring only those authorized can enter.
Yes, we have additional measures in place, but for safety reasons, we do not disclose the details. But they’re huge!
Yes, access is strictly limited to individuals per the rental agreement.
Climate-Controlled Indoor Units

Climate-controlled storage units offer better protection than non-climate controlled units for sensitive items such as wood furniture, electronics, artwork, family photos, and documents that can be damaged from heat, cold, and moisture.
We maintain a temperature range of 60–80°F and actively reduce humidity levels. Conditions are monitored on site as well as remotely.
All indoor personal storage units are climate-controlled. However, warehouse and RV/Boat storage spaces are not.
Electronics, wood or leather furniture, important documents, photos, musical instruments, and clothing are all better preserved in a climate-controlled space.

Yes! We offer uncovered spaces as small as 10’ x 22’ and covered spaces as large as 12’ x 60’.
RV, Boat, and automotive units are as small as 10' x 22' (uncovered); and as large as 12' x 60' (covered and uncovered offered).
Yes, our facility was designed with wide driveways and ample turning space for easy maneuvering.
Access is available from 6:00 AM to 9:45 PM, which allows early or late visits while maintaining facility security.
Yes. Each covered RV unit has one electrical outlet, intended for battery maintainers only. A dump station is also available on site.

We offer a wide range of units—from 5’ x 10’ indoor spaces to 4,300 sq. ft. enclosed warehouse units, as well as outdoor and covered RV/boat spaces.
Access is to the facility is daily from 6:00 AM to 9:45 PM. Our commitment is to provide security to your possessions you entrust with us. We feel that middle-of-the-night access leads to security risks.
Yes, moving carts are available for use on-site with our indoor climate-controlled units.
Yes. For safety, we do not allow the storage of hazardous materials, flammable liquids, perishable food, or illegal items. If unsure, please ask.
Yes, the indoor climate-controlled units have a dock by the entry to assist unloading from trucks, flat beds and box trucks.
